My art works. In Public.

My public art work has been seen and enjoyed  by literally millions of people. Not only on television, The LA Times and on film, (murals, fiber work and more) but also in Colorado, where over  70 million visitors a year will be able to see her current work on exhibit in “The Vistas” in Lone Tree, Colorado.  Her work is in many international city collections and exhibitions since 1976, and continues to expand worldwide.

“My earliest memories if making art are living at the beach and making sand sculptures.  It was fun, but I also had to understand how the earthy sand and water worked together so I could build a form and make it beautiful.  From those early years of ephemeral works in  sand, water, and colorful bits of seashells, my work has evolved to the high permanence and strength of concrete that will last centuries.

I was born in an artist colony town by the beach.  That’s where I started creating  my lifelong career in art… in the sand.

If I had a Motto, I’d say:  Fine Art is really in our  minds.  We may have an object at hand, but the imagination and meaning comes from our hearts and minds, and offering my art publicly allows us all to share in that awesome human effort of creativity and imagination.  Through this, we can see and remember that each of us has the power to create and imagine a brilliant future.
